We would like to inform all our clients and enthusiasts that at the beginning of October 2025, we presented a new Special Generation of barrels and battery sets of casks called “Sensazione Unica”, created to celebrate the Centenary Anniversary in Modena of the Renzi Family Master Coopers dynasty, which actually dates back as far as 1546.
(We are among the 150 companies that have made Italian history, marking the 150th Anniversary of Italy’s Unification.)

“Sensazione Unica” Centenary Top Series – Battery of casks for Balsamic Vinegar
We are the first coopers to create barrels with staves and heads made from alternating different wood essences, achieving for each cask as many as six or more different types of wood.
The classic battery — still an excellent and irreplaceable choice — is generally made of single-wood casks, where you can find Oak, Chestnut, Ash, Acacia (Robinia), Cherry, and the rare Mulberry.
However, starting today, we are renewing this concept by offering the possibility of batteries in which each cask is made from multiple wood essences, even six or more.
The “Sensazione Unica” mix of casks enhances the complexity of aromas and fragrances during the aging of Balsamic Vinegar, opening up a new world of sensations.

In this “Sensazione Unica” version, barrels are also made with staves and heads from multiple wood essences, allowing each barrel to be customized in terms of both quantity and type of wood.
This makes it possible to create tailor-made aging processes, perfectly adapted to the most specific needs of our Clients.

“Sensazione Unica” Centenary Top Series – Caratelli for Vin Santo
Our aim is to renew and innovate, not replace the tradition of single-wood caratelli used for Vin Santo, typically made of Oak, Chestnut, Acacia (Robinia), or Cherry.
The “Sensazione Unica” caratelli, crafted with expertise and made from multiple wood essences, offer the opportunity to characterize and personalize the final product, giving rise to a new era of mixed olfactory and gustatory sensations.
